Çimstone’s high-density formulation allows for complex, high-precision edge profiling. From modern micro-bevels to traditional ogee drops, our material holds its shape flawlessly during the routing and lamination phases.
Surface Prep: Smooth the back surfaces of the pieces to be bonded using a coarse pad to remove factory backing data and ensure an optimal adhesive bond.
Color Matching: Double-thickness strips must be cut from the exact same slab as the primary surface to guarantee absolute color and particulate continuity.
Curing & Clamping: Apply a gel polyester adhesive mixed with color-matched pigments. Clamp the assembly tightly at intervals of no more than 10 cm and allow full chemical curing before profiling.

Cabinetry Protection (Drip Grooves)
Purpose: To protect supporting architectural millwork and cabinetry from liquid damage over time, fabricators must route a precise drip groove on the underside of the countertop or vanity edge.
Specifications: This channel must be engineered to exactly 4 mm wide and a maximum of 2 mm deep.
